COUNSELLING PSYCHOTHERAPY
What is the difference between Life Coaching and Psychotherapy?
Life coaching and Psychotherapy are two transformative modalities designed to improve your quality of life. It's crucial to remember that the methodology and focal points of the two approaches are different. For customers who want to achieve particular goals in their personal and professional lives, my life coaching programme offers a safe and encouraging environment. In order to make sure that your goals are in line with your life's values, vision, and purpose, we evaluate and define them together. Next, working together, we create a personalised action plan that will help you reach your greatest potential by building on your existing strengths and assisting you in acquiring new techniques and abilities. The programme for life coaching places a strong emphasis on your present and future selves.
On the other hand, a major focus of psychotherapy is developing an awareness and understanding of your past in an attempt to address present issues that are impeding your goals for the future (e.g., emotional distress, mental health and psychological struggles, dysfunctional relationships, etc.). My main objective is to provide a secure, accepting environment where you may explore and learn more about who you are. We might take some time together to work through the hurts and traumas from the past and develop coping mechanisms to deal with intense feelings and troubling ideas.
The main pillars of my therapy approach are narrative and solution-focused therapies. This means that whilst I offer you the opportunity to discuss your own narratives and the significance you have placed on them, I also direct our conversations to assist you in recognising and formulating potential answers to the issues you are currently facing.
